IFC: concepts, principles and practical applications.

For several decades, we have been exchanging information relating to construction projects in digital format, not just on paper. This includes plans, specifications, quantity surveys and object lists. In recent years IFC has emerged as another way to exchange information. Information relating to a construction project can be easily shared within a BIM (Building Information Model) process framework in IFC format.
