EN 13501-4 : Fire classification of construction products and building elements - Part 4: Classification using data from fire resistance tests on components of smoke control systems.

This standard defines the classification procedure for smoke control system components based on the results of fire resistance tests falling within the scope of the corresponding test methods. It also covers classification based on the extended application of these test results. It applies to smoke extraction ducts and dampers, smoke barriers, smoke and heat control fans, including their connection joints, as well as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators. Clause 2 lists the relevant documents relating to the test methods developed for these products.
