EN 13914-2 : Design, preparation and application of external rendering and internal plastering - Part 2: Internal plastering.

This standard addresses the design, essential principles and application of internal plastering systems. Its various parts specify requirements and recommendations relating to construction, design, materials, mix selection and the application of gypsum plasters and gypsum/lime, premixed lightweight, anhydrite, lime/gypsum, cement, cement/lime, lime, silicate, polymer and polymer-modified plasters. It excludes external finishes, painting and preparation for painting, impregnation treatments, the repair of concrete structures and fibrous plasterwork. Since the diversity of materials and methods used across Europe does not allow sufficient detail to be provided for each country, national documents provide additional guidance without superseding the basic European recommendations.
