EN 1998-4 : Eurocode 8 - Design of structures for earthquake resistance - Part 4: Silos, tanks, pipelines, towers, masts and chimneys.

This European standard EN 1998-4:2025 does not yet have the status of a Belgian standard. In Belgium, it is available in three official versions (German, English, and French), pending the publication of the Dutch version. This document can only be applied once its corresponding Belgian National Annex (ANB) has been published. This document does not replace the existing standards NBN EN 1998-4:2006 and NBN EN 1998-6:2005. The sole purpose of publishing this document at this stage is to enable Eurocode users to familiarize themselves with future normative texts, pending the entry into force of the new generation of Eurocodes and their respective ANBs.
